Copyright Registration procedure and costs

Step 1
Mr. Pearce prepares an Application for United States Copyright Registration. As long as the Application for Registration relates to simple subject matter, the Counseling The Creative® Office requires a $405.00 retainer to prepare the Application for Copyright Registration.

The Registrar of Copyrights requires a filing fee. Copyright Fees

Step 2
Generally, in approximately 6-15 months, the applicant will be in possession of the United States Copyright Registration.

On rare occasions, the Copyright Examiner may reject an application for Copyright Registration. The Counseling The Creative® Office's retainer for replying to the Copyright Examiner's rejection ranges from $210.00 to $690.00 depending on the complexity and nature of the rejection.
